The highest amount to be awarded during 2008-2009 is $4,731. The maximum EFC amount that enables students to be eligible for Pell grant is $4,041 during 2008-2009. Cost of attendance and the status of enrollment (full or part time) are other factors that are used to determine the amount of grant a student is awarded. The higher the cost of attendance the easier it is for a student to receive the grant and if the minimum cost of attendance required to receive a full grant during 2008-2009 is $4,241.
